How to acquire your card?
- Purchase your ELITE SPORT card at our ticket booths or, soon, on our website.
- If you bought the card at our ticket booths, scan the QR code provided to you to access the application form.
- Pick up your card within 4 business days. If it becomes available sooner, we will inform you so you can collect it as soon as possible. Keep in mind that cards are issued only on business days.
- Once activated, you will be able to recharge it at a ticket booth or, soon, on our website with packages of 5, 10, 20, or 30 trips.
- Cards are delivered at the upper ticket booth only from Monday to Saturday (not applicable on holidays), between 5:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Terms and Conditions
Personal and Non-transferable: The card is for the exclusive use of the holder and cannot be transferred to third parties. If its use by persons other than the holder is detected, a process may be initiated to block the card.
Visible Carriage: The card must be carried in a visible place when entering the boarding areas.
Card Condition: Cards with alterations or damage will not be accepted at ticket booths or registers, and must be replaced according to the current fare.
Usage Hours: The card is valid for use from Sunday to Sunday, including holidays, from opening until 10:30 a.m.
Controlled Access: Passage through the registers without the presence of Teleférico a Monserrate staff is not allowed.
After-hours Use: If the funicular and/or cable car is used after 10:30 a.m., it will be necessary to purchase a ticket according to the current fare for the date and time of purchase.
Card Validity: The card is valid only for descent trips by funicular. If the funicular is not in service, the descent will be made by cable car.
Non-redeemable: The card balance is not redeemable for cash.
Loss or Damage: In case of loss or damage, a new card must be purchased at the ticket booths and the corresponding fee paid.
Legal Link: This card does not establish any employment or legal relationship.
Recharge Packages: The available packages to recharge the card are for 5, 10, 20, and 30 trips, which are valid for one year from the date of purchase. The minimum recharge is 5 trips.
Birthday Courtesy: The ELITE athlete who climbs Monserrate on their birthday will receive one free trip. To claim this benefit, they must register their visit at the upper ticket booth, and the trip will be charged to their card within the next two business days. They will be notified by email once their birthday trip has been charged.
Referrals: The ELITE athlete who enrolls a new athlete will receive two free trips as a reward, and the referred person will receive one free trip.
Bathroom Access: To access the bathrooms for free, the ELITE athlete must present their ELITE SPORT card along with their identification document for the respective validation.
Validity and Renewals: The ELITE SPORT Card is valid for one year from the issuance date. Athletes who have used more than 48 trips during the card's validity can renew it at no cost, as a benefit. To process the free renewal, the administrative area will carry out the corresponding validation during administrative hours by contacting the email info@monserrate.co. This process is carried out internally and cannot be done at the ticket booths. On the other hand, athletes who have used less than 48 trips during the card's validity period must pay the standard renewal fee at the ticket booths.
Blocking or Freezing: The system may automatically block the card if numerous recharges of the 5-trip package are detected. In this case, the ELITE ATHLETE must go to the preferential ticket booth to request a free reprint. Therefore, we recommend opting for recharges of 10, 20, or 30 trips to avoid the card being blocked. In the case of medical incapacity exceeding 30 days, the Elite Sport card may be frozen; for this, a medical certificate from the affiliated E.P.S. must be sent. The maximum time to freeze the card is one month. For this, the Elite athlete must send the request to the email info@monserrate.co.
Right of Withdrawal: Cancellations for online purchases are only accepted up to 5 days after the purchase, provided that no trip from the recharge has been used.
Marketing Strategies and Loyalty Programs: Teleférico a Monserrate may implement marketing strategies and loyalty programs at any time to segment and categorize ELITE ATHLETES. This will allow the creation of different card categories and differentiated, exclusive reward plans for each of the new defined categories.
Modifications to the Terms and Conditions: Teleférico a Monserrate reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these TERMS AND CONDITIONS at any time, including the benefits associated with the ELITE SPORT CARD. Modifications will be published on the monserrate.co website.
